Portrayed in an elegant warm-toned black & white development, this Southern stingray cruises over the sand off Little Cayman island, the smallest and least developed of the Cayman Islands. The use of monochrome emphasizes the shape of the ray and simplifies the surrounding sand to create a narrative of this ray cruising over the bottom in search of food. It can be quite entertaining to watch as the ray digs down into the sand nearly covering itself in the sand it stirs up. A print for any diver, lover of the seas to enjoy.
