Swimming into this school of Horse-Eyed Jacks along the Bloody Bay Wall off Little Cayman island is an experience I wish everyone could have. Underwater life often has no fear of visiting humans, simply moving slowly away to make room. I got a chuckle out of the one fish in this image that seems to be acting in the opposite of that description. Black and White underwater photography can be a rare find, and for this particular image, I think it works especially well. The use of monochrome development creates a unifying simplicity, the intimate feeling of being there, only you and the fish.
