I slowly swam towards this Peacock Flounder lying motionless along a reef in Bonaire of the Netherland Antilles with hopes to get a closeup. Their camouflage pattern makes them quite difficult to spot, a good defense against predators or photographers not paying attention. The colorful spotted patterns of this fish made for a wonderful abstract image with a connection to the sea.
