Something magical happens under the sea at night where coral polyps open for their evening snacks. In this coral polyp closeup, photographed off Little Cayman's beautiful Bloody Bay Wall in the Caribbean Sea, the marvelous wonders of nature are present. What a peculiar animal, almost alien. However, the only thing alien here is our own lack of knowledge around all the life a healthy ocean supports.
