Artist's Description

A coastal brown bear swims across the stiff current of a river flowing into the Kinak Bay wilderness in Katmai National Park, Alaska. Why you ask? The salmon run here. A good feast awaits. No nets, rods and reels, just the swift smack of a dinner plate sized paw and that fish is smoked.
