This photograph was made while shore diving off Bonaire, a small island in the Caribbean off Venezuela. Swims from the shore to the outlying reef often took place over these expanses of luminous white sand. I couldn't help start thinking about the representation of our vast oceans, how much remains unexplored and understood. Yet the inviting blue ahead beckons you to keep swimming further as the reward awaits ahead.
